    Re: B5 S4 seafoam

I have read posts on Audizine etc. Lot of people have success with better throttle response, cleaner engine, better mileage etc. Some people use Auto-rx, and some use Kerosene etc.

I thought I would do it to see what kind of cleaning it does. I have done it on my 91 Civic, 03 TL, 98 Outback etc.

LOL, very true. Seafoam will clean out your intake manifold, your pre-combustion chambers, and your combustion chambers. It WON'T clean your MAF unless you drill a hole in your airbox, before the MAF, and stick a straw in it .

I thought this was a post about a B5 S4 painted in a seafoam color. I was somewhat disappointed to hear all the vacuum line talk :(

Someone told me once that seafoam (or lakefoam) was fish pee. Anyone confirm?

I think he means the stuff you see washed up on the side of the lake(sea) not the stuff in the can for your car.

Correct, and no it was not a serious comment, that's just always what I think about when I hear about "seafoam"

Many lines, not sure which one to pull. On my Acura it was more obvious.

What's FPR? Internet search yielded 'Ford Performance Racing'

Not sure on the line, but FPR is Fuel Pressure Regulator I believe.

Its on the drivers side of the engine, coming off the block. Tough to describe, but a little metal (twoonie size-ish) cylinder type shape with a hose coming off it.... I'll see if I can find a pic.
