    I am gonna take my S4 for a drive. First time in heavy rain. Let see how the Hankooks hood up.

    Hankooks hold up great in Rain, im running Hankook Ventus summers and they are great all around summer tires

      Yeah that's what I have but looks like it's strictly a summer tire, not really all-season. Makes it tricky because it means we'll have to put on winters in September. Any form of snow I don't think you want to be driving with the Ventus.

        haha i put my Ventus on in the end of January! we had some of the biggest dumps of snow after that. surprisingly they did very well for themselves, and sure as hell beat my bald all seasons.

          Rule of thumb:

          Just before: Hallowe'en = summer ---> winter;

          Just after: May Long = winter --> summer.

          My Potenzas are garbage below 3.0 deg. C but wonderful above. Through standing water in tyre grooves on the highway at 80 mph + they're like a hot knife through buttah.

          Personally, not a fan of Hankooks unless we're talking truck tyres... in which case they're the only ones that don't "square off" in the Arctic. But that's winter.
