  • B5 S4 now admissable?

Someone on Audiforum.ca mentioned it and when I looked at RIV I don't see it. Hmmm...

      Re: B5 S4 now admissable?

I saw some nice deals in the US couple months ago. That RIV changed recently. With that said, I am leaning toward doing some work on mine after our meet this weekend.

      1. Timing belt, water pump, cam seals. While I am at it should I do the
      valve cover gasket? Anything else?

      2. Right CV joint and boot.

      3. DV and TBB. I don't need to go as good as Samco though?

      4. Chip. VAST, GIAC, Unitronic. Dunno yet.

      5. Piggies. Good for 20 hp without exhaust?

I think that should do. Definitely 1-3 anyways. 3-4 can probably wait till after winter. Will decide in the next two weeks.

        do you have a 6spd?

my stock downpipes will be for sale pretty quick and you can make piggies or test piggies (like mine) with them

valve cover gaskets if its leaking for sure
replace both DVS with audi/vw 710n's
tbb get the samco or buy the APR bi-pipe if you have the coin (i went this route)
chip.. i love my APR personally but its up to you there

they are still not admissible. I called RIV last thursday and they said until they recieve the new lists at the border crossings they will not be allowing any different vehicles across the border. i asked specifically about the S4

yep! i'm tempted to get a b4 s4 avant instead of a b6/7 because of the cost.. but then 2 2.7ts scare me plus i love a v8 with an exhaust

Most of the B5S4 in states are 100,000 miles or about. I wanted to get one from the US with 80,000 miles b4 I got mine.

65 Litres... which means you will be lucky to hit 350km in the city (assuming you are filling with 55L everytime.

                          Gas stations are fun!

False...even in my Stage 3 I consistantly get over 400km on a tank (usually 450-475), and that is 75% rush-hour driving. Even if I really beat on it for a whole tank I get atleast 350km.
