There is some place in montana or idaho that does them rebuilt for like 250$

thats funny you posted this.. i work with a guy with an a6 2.7 and i scanned his car with my vagcom the other night as he had some lights on and one was ABS rough road and searching its the abs module. yea they are like 1100 new!! jeebs stupid audis

I had mine done by ModuleMasters for ~$250 about 2.5 years ago. The turnaround was very quick (but you can still drive your car without it), and their service was top notch...I would definately send it to them. They even put a little glittery sticker on the module for you when they send it back lol.Kyle

Nope, you can drive without it...I just zip-tied a plastic bag over all the exposed parts so no debris got in there while I was waiting
edit: although it's common sense, I should mention that you obviously won't have ABS with this out lol. Your brakes work fine (like they did for a hundred years) without ABS...but don't go bombing around town and then expect the brakes not to lock up if you slam on them haha.Last edited by Smarty39; 06-20-2008, 10:23 AM.Kyle
