  • Does anyone have a used, working ABS module for a 2000 S4?

Mine is on it's way out and it's going to cost an arm and a leg (well more like a forearm, but it's still a decent amount of cash). If anyone does, let me know ASAP. Thanks

Where is this? Does it need to be shipped out and what not?

Do a search on AW and AZ and you'll find a number of other options...

There is some place in montana or idaho that does them rebuilt for like 250$

A quick google search gave me this one:

              and this one....

I had mine done by ModuleMasters for ~$250 about 2.5 years ago. The turnaround was very quick (but you can still drive your car without it), and their service was top notch...I would definately send it to them. They even put a little glittery sticker on the module for you when they send it back lol.

Nope, you can drive without it...I just zip-tied a plastic bag over all the exposed parts so no debris got in there while I was waiting

edit: although it's common sense, I should mention that you obviously won't have ABS with this out lol. Your brakes work fine (like they did for a hundred years) without ABS...but don't go bombing around town and then expect the brakes not to lock up if you slam on them haha.
