Clear coat peeling

I was washing my car yesterday and noticed a could of spots on my front bumper by the wheel with a lighter shade. When I touched it I found that the clear was off an the expsed edges were flaking away.

The car is an 01.5 S4 so I do not know if they will warranty it, but Royal Oak took a picture to follow up on. I hope they fix it and would love a complete respray of the bumper cover.

yea same deal happened/happening to me

when i bought mine it had a small scrape in the rear bumper so glenmore had it fixed/blended.. well 2 years later the blended area clear is peeling like a siv! i phoned glenmore and they were cool with it and i took it to the shop that did it and they gave me cash for it.. i need to take mine in for a front end respray fix that 1/4 panel crap and roof spoiler so one of these days..

Audi has a 10 year warranty on their paint IIRC.

I have clear peeling on the front and rear bumper as well.... but have no idea if it had been re-sprayed at all at some point..

Silver paint GB??

LOL perhaps.. i'm going to do a full respray in another year or two.. vag paint seems to suck in canada.. well calgary winters make it suck i should say

Are the silvers for Audi and VW the same? I need sideskirts and front lip painted!!


On a side note: Do eurodrivers members get a discount on painting from any shops?
