      Re: Piggie pipes

Kyle you would just have to get a 4" resonator to put in line and that would help suppress the noise.

I have a catback right now...SuperSprint 2.5". I actually really like the sound, but I have a hard-on for that Vibrant for some reason...might just have to pick it up. I think the black would look good with my upcoming respray

Might just have to do that...anyone have first hand experience with any exhaust shops for custom work?

Carline... Epic Welding.. there are a few.. although you will probably have to shop at a Diesel truck place to get your parts!
IMO 4" is a little much when dealing with K04's.. dual 2.5/3's or single 3/3.5 is plenty.

            I agree, it's a little more than I need...but I still like it.

if your doing custom you should do a true dual out the back

              but thats alot of work

too loud for my taste...I think I'm going to buy that black Vibrant and see what it sounds like with a custom mid section and resonator...stay tuned

We talked about exhaust and he too figures 4" would be the best exhaust for power on the top end with a healthy RS6 setup but I still want civilized sound for daily driving and there isn't much for options when it comes to the dual rear tipped muffler set-up, I don't like the fart cannon look or sound much. I really like the sound of that TT 2.5" dual and Jason says it wouldn't be very detrimental to power depending on how much headwork etc. I choose to go with, but for drags I could always just go with open dp's whether it be with removed exhaust or possibly squeeze some cut-outs in there, what do you guys think? Jordan could you shoot me a pm on pricing for the TT exhaust please.
I'll fire you a PM with pricing tomorrow.

I'm still sporting my single 3" pipe out the back until I find a tip I like. I think I would like the black anodized nickel look on some sort of oval tip. We'll see what I can find.
