VAG code for instrument lights?

Car is a 2001.5 S4 Tip.

I have access to the Palm based VAD-Mobile (works great!) and am looking for a code to turn off my instrument lights unless I actually turn my headlights on with the switch. Anybody got it?

Did the window / remote change and the auto-lock while driving. Any other's that are "must do's"?

the auto 15km/hr lock is a must

the instrument lights i didn't know you could do.. right now mine don't turn on unless i turn the lights on.. so hrmmm.. unless i just never notice haha..

I hate the auto lock after 15 km/h on most cars. I was driving a Chrysler 300 for a few months, and every time I tried to get out of the damn car I would forget that the doors automatically locked. I'd rip the door handle open only to realize that the friggin thing locked on me.

Don't forget to turn off the car door and seat belt alarms. I hate the door alarms the most just having your door open while the car is running is no need for constant beeping.

I liked the auto door lock on my Golf, so I put that back on. Is there a setting to "auto unlock" when the key is removed from the ignition?

Still wondering about the dash lights (gauge cluster). Do they HAVE to be on all the time, or is there a setting to only have them on with the switch?

Want to do the one to my Tip so it doesn't automatically shift to 2nd right away.

Where is the best place to find the codes? I've been searching and found a few here and there, but is there a central "resource" online?

Mine are on all of the time, didn't know there was a code to change that.

Yeah, sometimes you just gotta bail, ya know. haha

The problem was that the 300 didn't unlock the doors again when you went below 15, so I'd come to a stop and forget that the doors had locked without me locking them. Quite annoying

You need a tip chip in order to change how the tranny shifts.

Got the OC.t from Stratmosphere, so should be able to do it (I hope).

jordan on ours the front doors unlock once you try to exit.. the back doors for the kids will stay locked until you pull the key out... or really all doors/trunk unlock once you pull the key out

You need a tip chip in order to change how the tranny shifts.

I think he just want to hold first gear...which is a VAG recode of the tranny module to 0032 (I think?)...I can check mine whe I get home if you'd like Jeff?
