Is that US or Canadian pricing? If it's Canadian pricing, the 135i is marginally more expensive than a fully loaded GTi. Not bad.

I built a fully loaded (every possible option including 18" alloys, ground effects kit, roof racks, ipod adaptor, automatic, every ridiculous thing) dub on the vw.com website for $21,000

GTI starts at like $22K

I'm guessing that's 40g in the states, so you're probably looking at 60g in Canada

nevermind i built a 335i sedan with the options i would want and it came to 62CDN and the coupe is 66 with the same options.. so i'd guess the 135 would be like 52ish then

so this is convertible pricing? Im too lazy to check if coupe/sedan pricing was on there, but I was under the impression that a coupe/sedan would be closer to the 44k mark (when talkin to the dealer, not that they know for sure either)

Keep in mind that the pricing stated in the original post is for the convertable and convertable pricing is usually more expensive than its hard top counterparts.

Those are the Canadian prices announced today. April 15 is the estimated delivery date for the first allocations (my estimated delivery date!)

I'm not sure what the premium and comfort packages include, I wasn't too keen on that stuff anyways... comfort is stuff like electronically adjustable seats and memory. premium is auto dimming mirrors, bluetooth, and a whole bunch of other things that i can't quite recall. M pkg is the suspension, sport seats, M badging, nicer wheels, another color.

Its all in the order guide...

The pricing is a little steep, but its quite a car I think.

$41,700 for base car is an awsome price. Comes with M kit and wheels. Loaded should be under 50 grand. For 300hp that is not bad.

Add another 2200 and you roll out of the dealer with 380hp and 420tq

He's probably talking about the Dinan Tuning you can get for the 335i from BMW. Not sure if it works for the 135i or not.
