You can get them up here but it requires some mods to the DRL's and bumper or something. I looked into it but it wasn't worth the hassle when I could find them here for 20g's.

less headache? do you guys work on those things lol ...... get a 1.8t then labor wont completely break you for every minor repair just from my billing experiences . and you can get a 1.8t to do some insane power . if you start with the right parts ... yes the apr is a great way if all you want is around that 300 hp range the kit is one of the best for the vag motors but if you plan on going further . look at full race for a manifold and build a gt series turbo system . they had a a4 at sema making 500hp and a very good spool . comparable to the apr 3+ with upgraded engine internals . then run your own big turbo tune .( i have run a few diferent brands and found unitronic to be the best ) and your a insane a4. but if you are not one to do your own fiddling arround get the apr . its a great kit.

Sadly I think going that direction would be way more expensive.

As Jerbel said, 20g for an S4, not too far off an A4 + 8k

Stage 3+ 1.8T maintenance and headaches are going to be worse than a stock S4 imo.
