    Re: Santa came early!

If you got the extra money, buy the ER coolers...they seem to be the way to go these days. Personally, I got RS4's waiting to go in becuase let's face it, how often is the engine NOT at optimal temperature anyway here in Alberta lol.

      For IC's...
ER>AWE>RS4>IPP>OEM.... the FMIC fits nicely in around the AWE ones.. but you have to hack this SH out of your bumper.. there is an Imola S4 sporting the eBay kit running around town...to me wasnt worth the effort.

There are a ton of used RS4/AWE on AW right now.. as the big boys are all upgrading to the ER's..

Jordan: You roiginally wanted to go this route no? (George was telling me an S4 with an RS4 bumper brought it in.. but he suggested agasint it)

Yup, true story. I originally bought a FMIC for my car, but after seeing the destruction that would have to be incurred to my bumper, I decided it wouldn't be a very wise thing to do! It would have required the removal of the entire middle section of rebar from the bumper. If the front end got hit at all, it would be good bye S4, write off for sure.

The RS4's are really plenty for the climate we have here unless you are throwing on turbo's that move more air than K04's.

Mark: I didn't think they had done any conclusive tests on the difference between ER and IPP. Are you sure that ER>RS4>IPP?
