    yeah.
i was speaking with nick who was in the car with clay when they were dicking around with a guy in a DB7 that couldn't lose them. he said it was pretty hilarious to see the look on the other guys face when this audi just wouldn't budge.

I dont know the full details... but you can google TAPP, and their red A4.. That should provide enough answers!
Dom bought this? Or is he building one like it? It's CRAZY fast...I remember reading about it a while back.

In the summer of 2005 on it's first trip to the dragstrip, this car went 11.91 @115 mph. At the time it had a completely stock AEB 1.8 liter engine. Stock cams, internals, everything. The car was also stock weight of course, around 3370lbs of so. This was after dynoing about 380 whp on high octane fuel. It also ran 12.5 with lower boost and 94 octane. At the time the mods were; -3071 t3 flanged turbo -Our equal length stainless manifold -Tial 38mm external wastegate -60 lb high impedance injectors -Tapp Auto custom software in stock ECU -front mount intercooler -3 inch exhaust system -larger maf housing -fuel pump upgrade -clutch upgrade That was it, otherwise stock
On may 6th, the Audi ran 10.82@ over 130mph, Making it the worlds fastest and quickest A4. It is also the fastest 1.8T powered car still running a bosch ecu.

Im not sure if Dom cares if I let out any details.. but its the same car.. but with a fully built 2.0. Lets just say its quick!!

There are a ffew companies coming out with K04/RS6 bolt on kits... so between those and the more expensive GT's, there are a few more options! (but one might start to wonder the capability of stock internals..apparently around the 500hp mark)

-edit- Oh damn! just broke 800 posts.. Look out Ryan!

              OK, another NooB question....

Went and test drove the 2001.5 that I'm looking at today. It's in fantastic shape, Sport model, tip.....just very nice. We are not at the point of closing the deal yet, but getting close.

After I got back in my Golf with leather GTI seats, I realized that the out part of my thighs were "sore" from the tightness of the seats in the S4. (Ready for the fat-ass comments...bring 'em on).

Question...is one of the adjustments in the S4 seats for the seat pan bolsters? Or, do I need to learn to live with it?

At under 100k on the clock, what would you pay?

what color? i'd say anywhere between 25-35k depending on alot of things really

the seat adjustments you cannot adjust the bolsters.. i love the seats they fit me just right.. i'd say you'd get used to it..

One option... my sidebolster is slightly pushed out.. I could trade ya seats if they are black..

Gee, that's' awful kind of you, but mine will be white alcantera. Too bad, really, I'd have loved to get "broken" seats for perfectly good ones.

Car is Silver in color, and I'm prepared to reshape my butt if that's required.

Now I just need to get things finalized with my contact...hopefully early into the new year and I'll be joining the S4 crowd.
