    Re: Looking at older(ish) TTs

Its depends on year as to weather or not you need the bumper extensions,i couldent tell you clearly what year does and what year dosnt , my dads didnt need the extensions , mine is on the fence as its a late 00 production , its in there the change of the rule, anyways , a 225 low mile from 03 is about 23000 landed if you find a good one, a high mile unit in the 70k mile range is around 17-18 by the time you get it up here , be it a plane ticket and gass , or transport to a montana location and bring it p from there, i have a good lead on a 05 tt 3.2 dsg ,coupe, for like 28000 and only 30k miles on it super clean , but i am not in need of it now , i love my 225

yeah i love my 225 too! night and day difference between it and my mk4 in terms of fit and feeling. mine was a 2002 and it did need bumper modifications, but like someone said, there are always cheaper alternatives when making it conform to requirements
