New Audi member, intro + Pics

Hello All,

Just saying hellow to all the fellow forum members! This is my second Audi, had a 1993 audi S4 prior. This car, just as special.

Rare 1999 Audi A4 Avant, this is the only one I have heard of or seen in Canada.

Bought the car in Calgary from a guy who brought it in with him when he moved from the States. Either way, the car is my inspiration to move to Europe and buy a real RS4, the looks are uncomprimizing, my favorite style of avant.

No real mods yet but managed to do a few light mods:

EuroGear CF hood
Center Vent Boost Guage
TurboXS BPV
LLTEK 2pc lights
Custom painted black roof
Tan suede headliner

Planning to put on an oem s4 bumper/sides on the car along with some nice dish wheels next summer. The car will be driven all year round as you would expect. Just bought some michelin x-ice tires to mount on the stock audi wheels so I will be forced to buy some nice summer wheels, how unfortunate

That's awesome! How did you register it? Did the previous owner already have it registered or were the US plates still on it? I assume it got slipped by transport Canada before sh!t hit the fan lol.

Thank you very much for the kind words guys! The owner had it already registered when I bought of him (i would never had bought it otherwise...). But its fully legal, even my registration says "avant" for the body style. That car is also accompanied with the the RIV/Transport canada compliance sticker. I would be glad to show the car to the members, nice to see some people who recognize what it is and how rare they are in Canada!

You could do some pretty sick things to that and make alot of Canadians VERY angry lol. Do you plan on modding it heavily? I would strip my S4 in a heartbeat an drop the 2.7T in there...ps, I hate you.

Ahahaha, for sure man. The car will for sure get the oem s4 body next year. I wish i had the $$ for rs4 gear but as a student currently I cannot.

The plans for the car next year are:

S4 bumper
S4 Side Skirts - in the works as we speak
Painted rear valance
Window Tint
European e-codes - in transit
Some sort of 18" mesh wheels (not too sure which ones yet)
Bilstein/H&R combo - in the works
GHL turbo back
K04-15
Wetterauer(pardon spelling) tuning most likely

With the difficulty of the swap of a 2.7TT its not an option right now with limited funds and school tuition. After school is done, who knows what will happen. I'm sure the car will keep me happy for a while in the configuration above.

I have seen a couple b5 avants in canada. But there arnt many atall.
That car was forsale for quite a while too suprisingly and if i had the money I would be driving it for sure .

Looks the bizz though for sure, you will have to come out to some of the eurodrivers meet things we have at dubsport on fridays!

Ahahahha, I was the one actually that put it up for sale. ahahahah, i turned away a lot of buyers because i changed my mind. I tend to go through a lot of cars as I get bored usually quite quickly, but this one will stay a while.... i think ; )

Great car! I've seen you at Norden before. I think you were in getting Revo done or something. Anyhow, I love your car! That interior color is soooooo hot in person.
