Howdy, I'm new to the boards and was thinking that this place would be excellent to get some feedback on a used '88 325IX I'm looking at possibly purchasing, anyone have any feedback or comments on this car?
This is probobly a good time to mention that I know very little about cars as well.

    Alan.

Edit: I guess the info the guy posted would be helpful.

Up for sale is a 1988 BMW 325IX in black. The car is in awesome condition. Manual Transmission. Power windows, power sunroof, power locks. Great sound system. Shiny as hell - this thing is really impressive. Tight steering, too. Purchased about 8 months ago. Purchased a '93 recently, so I have no use for this anymore.

    Regularly goes for $3500+
    Asking $3250obo

I'd imagine the kilometers are really high because those cars are usually priced a little higher. The nice thing about the 325ix is that its all wheel drive and they come with nice fender flares.
    Tint sucks

Yea I saw a picture of the car and it looks pretty damn clean on the outside, totally dig the style of the body too.

Do you know if the parts are expensive/hard to find?

That car is a rare car is it a 2/4 door if it is a 2 door just buy it the are hard to find, a the traction works 63% on the rear and 37% up front so you still get that rear wheel drive feel the motor is 2.5l/6/m20 170hp 0-60 is 7sec top speed is 130mph, the e30 bimmers are built good the are bulit proof for mods, power gaings, parts are not that hard to find. Hope this helps.
        Cheers

ix parts are a bit different than the regular e30's and some of the ix stuff is NLA. plus you cant change the gear ratios.
you probably don't like me because someone else said they didn't lol. <3
