My mother in law hit a chair frame that bounced out of some zippers truck on Deerfoot, it is a 2003 325XiT. We need a few front end parts and are not going through insurance so I was wondering if there is a good source for used or new parts, the dealer quoted prices are not too bad but every dollar counts.
On another note. When she called to report this mess they asked if she saw the chair fall out of the truck, she said no and that is what gets you as it goes from collision to comp and her insurance goes up. She saw the truck drive off with the rest of the chairs in it but was honest about it, man if I saw that happen I would chase dude down and get the plate #. Broke a wheel, bumper, fog lamp, bumper grill and inner skirt so it is good the airbag did not go as it must hard to see and stop in the middle lane with a bag in your face. Rant over
