Anybody can do them, it's not that difficult if you have a drill and a welder.

I know they are can be DYI, I lack the space and tools to do it. As well I prefer a shop as hopefully they have done it before and know what problems can arise. Hard to take a risk learning on your nice car. I'd rather have a junker to learn on.

How involved is the pulling of the DP's from an 2001 S4? Roughly how many hours labor am I looking at for a shop to charge?

George at Tunedub would do it for you I bet...or he would send it to his buddy that does all the custom piping work for him. It shouldn't take more than a few hours to do the whole job if you have the right tools (alot longer on a TIP S4 though :()...
