BMWusa.com website updated with images and descriptors on the 1-series. It has a few more flattering shots of the 1-series than the ones we've got here. It also has some high level specs on the equipment the 128 and 135 will get... The BMW Canada site also has a small blurb on it.
I'm seriously thinking I'll be trading in my GLI next spring for one of these.

Has anyone seen anything that says that the 135i will be a 3 door version? All the international pages only show the 135i in the coupe not the 3 door...
i'd take a 135 anyday over a mk5 if the price is right.. if they price them 30-35 they'll have a winner for sure but then again with a twin turbo v6 in a car that priced they'll be everywhere!!! i'd like to run against one tho.. still haven't had a chance to run a 335
From what I have seen we will be getting the coupe only, no hatch.

My big question is also what the 135 will be priced at. Right now if you look @ bimmer pricing in the U.S. versus Canada, we pay more than what would conpensate for the currency difference. but now with the dollar so close to par, a $35k car US would be around $38k CAN. I know thats not the way the car pricing world works, but it sure would be nice if it is. And I don't think taht would be totally unreasonable pricing especially if they want to make a deep cut into A3 sales.

US shopping is seriously the way to go right now.. you can get cars on ebay at such good prices.. check out b6 s4s on there man.. you can even get b5 s4s for like 15,000 US!!! too bad you can't import them tho :(
Well most cars are priced based on the currency compared to the Euro, but they tend not to change these as often as the currency changes, really ours is still around the same versus the Euro it is probably the US prices that need to come up.
That being said I think you have to assume the 1 series coupe will fall between a Cooper S at $30,600 and the 328 is $43,600 and 335 is $51,600, so I would guess a 128 would be around 35ish and 135 probably closer to 40 for base prices.
