  • Testpipe or not? (there's a testpipe in the box)

I'm getting an exhaust put in by Richard soon and I was wondering if I should ask him to throw in a testpipe I have while he's at it. Easier for everyone to do it all at once I imagine.

I can't decide weather to do it or not, because my car is so new and still has quite a bit of warranty on it. Should I risk it with Southgate?

On the other hand the reported gains are substancial and I do have the testpipe sitting in the box...

(Disclaimer: Of course I would only use it for off road events...)

I say do it also but if you ever have to do any warranty work and the stealership notices the pipe then i'm sure they'd through up some flags so to speak. AMP up in Fort Mac wouldn't even do minor work on my supercharged cavalier and it had a GM supercharger, lol. its up to you in the end though dude. How long is the warranty?

I heard that the dealership has to prove that whatever modification you did to your car caused the damage/failure. Has anyone else heard of this?

If you throw it on, be sure to get a non-fouler.. to keep the CEL off...
