found this this AM.. apprantly high aluminum prices are causing it.. dunno how when you charge over 1000 for certain wheels that cost 250 bucks

anyways get those lms while you can i guess

They must mismanage money, like you said, some wheels probably cost them 250 bucks and they go for 1000+.

Maybe someone will buy them. The brand has value...

They have filed for insolvency protection, so they will make deals on their debt, restructure and continue on, hopefully making wheels better than ever and maybe in the uber common 3x112 pattern

It would be nice if they restructured and that meant changing the line to be a bit more competitive in today's market. BBS is obviously still up there with wheels like the LM and the CH is classic and fairly affordable... but a lot of BBS wheels are kind of dated and ugly now imo. They should have a premium line that includes wheels like the LM and a more competitive line that competes with the likes of the cheaper companies (Axis etc).

they will be bought by some company and be reborn with a new image and line up, the name itself is worth alot of money and there is a good reputation that comes with the name
