HOT.. i wonder what the engine will be the s5.. probably still the 4.2
i read rumors they are going to use a 3.2TT for the b8 S4 which isn't too far away

The engine should be the 4.2 for the S5 but it maybe a different version then the RS4 and R8 and expect around 400hp.

Also rumors the next RS6 will be a turbo V8 perhaps hitting 600hp!!!

Wohoo! I hope it's a great car... I also hope they mounted the engine a little farther back so it's not so front heavy... they are supposed to be doing that in the near future.

S5 supposed to be here in 7-10 months according to sources on audiworld.. v8 engine and 40/60 split diff like the RS4.. engine has been moved too for better balance (like the rs4)

i dunno if i like the dash layout compared to the last years.. the front looks mean..the tails are kinda fat tho.. overall its not bad tho.. hopefully the engines are good. 3.2TT s4 yo

I was just going to post this up. I think it looks amazing. I can't wait to see what they do with the S5. This could very well be my next car.

All comes down to price, this car is like an Audi clone of the 3 series coupe.

I think it will be bigger than a 3 Series coupe but yes price is a huge component to its potential success.
