  • Time for a new meeting spot.

Well after last weeks meet and some of the others we all know that Westhills/Signal Hill Second Cup is not the best spot for our clubs meeting spot, but where is a good spot? To help with this I am placing this up for discussion, so suggestions are appreciated and expected with the new location having to meet a few requirements as well.

    1) Need to be able to park 20 cars together in a nice lot.
    2) Need room for 20 people to sit together.
    3) Should be a central location as members come from all corners of the city.
    4) Should be a place where people can get drink/food but do not have to get something.
    5) Cannot be a bar as there are minors in the club.
    6) Should have good looking staff (I guess this one is not a priority)

So I think this is what we are looking for so lets see what we can come up with as a club, and hope to have a new home for our July meeting!! :mrpimp: :ed:

I actually like our westhills spot.. its fairly close for me and all. The parking lot is big and we can drive around like we did the other day. The only other place I could think of is crowfoot but thats not too equal for everyone. We could do northhill mall but then we'd get capped by the g's there.
I say we stay at westhills its a nice quiet location with a ton of room.. just my fiddycents

Yeah the Westhills is pretty crowded we basically overrun the second cup there and everyone leaves. I have no idea where else we could go though.

I like this thinking Although it would be tough to get a big enough table....
Sidewalks are for normal walkin.... aint no room for fancy walkin....

The restaurant idea is not bad but yes can we get a table for 10-20 people and then people are sort of inclined to get food and drink which they may or may not want to do.

                        lol Chris you rock

The BPs is not bad they could probably accomodate our group and I guess it meets the requirments, ther parking lot is a little didgy though but I guess it would be ok. Are we sure we want to get into a restaurant situation where we have bills to be split up at the end and such as opposed to just grabbing a coffe at the counter?

Anyone been to the starbucks up on 16th across from SAIT. It has its own building, so maybe bigger then others, not really sure I have never been there?

Yea I'm at that one all the time. It's a good size but I still don't think it would be big enough. There is definitely NO room to park all the cars. Staff are nice though!
