Service interval mod is a modification that will tell you how many km's are left until your next oil change. You set what value you want it to be (ie: 16, 000 kms between oil changes) and it will basically tell you how many kms are left until your next "service". When you do the oil change/service you reset the counter using a couple of steps with your cluster (ie: push time button then the trip meter clear knob etc etc in some combination). No computer/Vag-com needed for that part.

Nismo you will need someone with a licensed version to do any adaptions I believe.

My Smart does that stock, even has two symbols for A and B service and adjusts the interval to your driving style

Ha ha yeah some interesting rides!! But yes thanks to all who showed up, not a bad meet (better location this time) and the weather was not bad, maybe we can still get one more of this mid-monthers in this season!!

I didn't get a chance to talk to the 2 mk3 guys next to Nismo's car though which is too bad. That primered mk3 looked like he did a decent job shaving his moldings. Could be another mk3 crew car in the works once it gets a little lower to the ground!
