I just wanted to post up some info about das volks (august long weekend). Hope to see some of you out during the weekend. Just let me know if you have any questions.

Friday August 4th, 2006
Das Voks Drag night @ Race City
Tech runs from 6pm – 9pm
Racing 6pm – 11pm
Awards /prizes for racing will be handed out Sunday at Das Volks
Cost: $25 racing, $5 spectators


Saturday August 5th, 2006
Pancake Breakfast @ 10 – 11:30am
Concept 1 - http://www.concept1.ca
Cost $5

Poker Run 12:30 – 4pm (starting from C1)
Cost $5 at you chance of winning $150 and other prizes

BBQ Dinner/Show and Shine at Hooters (N.E. location) 4:30pm
Cost: $15adults, $10 kids (includes burger, veggie burger or hot dog, fries, salads and bottomless pop, tax and tip)

Registration 9:30am – 11am
Show 10am 4pm

Yah we had a blast at Stanley park last year, but I too am probably going to a lake cabin for the long weekend. :(

If you are in town I strongly suggest buying the pass, then you can race and be in the show for cheap and get free food!

The show was the weekend after the long weekend last year. We decided to hold the show on the long weekend this year because we have a whole bunch of people coming in from out of town, and this way they get the monday to drive home.

No, you don't have to send your info in ahead of time. But...if you want to buy the weekend pass you have to do that by Wednesday August 2nd. It saves you a bunch of $$ throughout the weekend. http://www.clubveedub.com/catalog/index.php

WOo - cabin trip is a few weeks later, so I can probably go! Have to check when the Warden gets back but looks like a full weekend pass for me!

Well I hope we have a good showing for Sundays show not sure how many people will go for the pass. I myself am going to be at the show on Sunday but no car to show this year.
