Elitist Twisty Cruise (Date: TBA)

just got back from a trip to Banff and have found the BEST road for a cruise. 10-12km loop that can be done both ways. Lots of elevation gains and drops and lots of nice high and low speed turns.

Trying to organize somthing for 8-10 cars (10 max) for a drive out there.

Road quality is very good, and only a few bumps worth really slowing down for. Nice scenery and the road doesn't look like it gets too busy.

We could do a cruise out to Banff, go for a drive and some photos, then get a bite to eat and back to calgary.

If I lived in or near Calgary, I'd be down for it. Unfortunately, I live too far to go for such a cruise.

I'm in!!! Depends when it is though! Sundays would definately work better for me as I work most Saturdays!

That was awesome! I remember seeing all the tourists in the Buses watching us go up and down.

I'll let my reputation in terms of these kinds of drives speak for itself, but don't think i won't tell someone to drive back alone if they are being idiots. I'm all for spirited driving, but don't show up and think you are michael schummacher. All it does it put the rest of us at danger as well as the rest of the public.

I have done dozens of these types of drives with the VR6 guys in Vancouver and not once has there been an incident. It is because everyone knows to leave room, everyone is attentive, and while people may drive quickly, no one drives like an idiot.

I will PM those interested with a date and time for meeting. I am thinking next weekend if the weather is going to be half decent. Post up your thoughts on times and dates that work and we will go from there.
