  • FarFromHome - Anyone interested in a Revo Technik Software Burn?

The Euro shop in town (I live in Saskatoon) is now Sask's auth. Revo Technik dealer. We might come down to the FFH show this comming weekend, but may come early or stay late, depending on interest.

Matrix Motorsports is Alberta Revo dealer, but from what i've heard they haven't impressed some ppl and aren't really too big into the VW scene. We're willing to come down maybe a day early or stay a day later and offer you guys (mk4 1.8T mostly) free 5-hr trial software burns, or full stage 1,2,3 burns if anyone is interested.

The plan right now is to bring the laptop and programmer to the show and if necessary sit in people's cars for most of the day. The reason for us possibly arriving early or staying later is in case some of you get a 5hr trial burn then decide "Yep! I definately want to buy the full software", we'll be around to do it for you, and not end up having Matrix reaping all the reward for a weekends worth of our hardwork and effot.

So.... Let me know via the poll.

Note: This applies to ppl w/ the following cars:
    Mk4 1.8T
    New Beetle 1.8T
    R32
    B5 S4 2.7TT
    B6 A4 1.8T
    B6 S4 4.2L V8
    Allroad 2.7TT
    Audi TT 1.8T 180/225hp
    RS6 4.2L TT

And possibly new Mk5 2.0T FSI's. We don't have the new software yet. Hopefully if we're lucky we'll get it this week.

RSS - I don't know why we don't have any B5 A4 stuff. I'll try as best I can do obtain the files.

Aleks - Most likely yes. Revo's a little strict when it comes to special pricing (esp. published on the web), but for those interested in full software, we'll work something out at the show.

Dubsport - Thank you for the offer. I will keep that in mind. Also, I'll bring a special dealer book for you.

Re: FarFromHome - Anyone interested in a Revo Technik Software Burn?

Looks like I'll be leaving early tomorrow (Saturday) morning, heading for Edmonton, so I will be available on saturday for a bit.

Dubsport, could you PM me your contact info? You open on Saturdays? I'll probably stop by after I make a couple appearances at some relatives houses.

I need your ECU number before 6pm today (before Revo closes for the weekend) Check your PM.

Also, for anyone wanting a burn and wondering how to find me.....

I'm comming up in a Red '93 2dr Golf CL Ice Race car. It has a big "21" on each door. You CAN'T miss it. Just approach me if i'm around the car. I'm a young guy, probably wearing a grey "Flat Out" hat. Or just ask one of the other Saskatchewan boys. Jeramiah or Cody or someone should know where I am.

I'll need your ECU # too. We only have about 5min, so I don't think we're gonna be able to pull this off.

Re: FarFromHome - Anyone interested in a Revo Technik Software Burn?

I found out the reason I'm missing these b5 audi and passat files is because they are still somewhat in development. Not alot of people with these cars are interested in Revo software... And those that have tested it, often times have not gotten back to Revo to give them feedback.

Revo really would have appreciated us trying out this software. There's a good chance i'll be visiting Calgary for the Stampede, so I'd be more than willing to get together with you guys (and any others) then.
