Hey I drove 8 hours from Regina today for this show, tore off my pass side front flare when I hit a dead deer on the highway cresting a hill. Car is fixed now ( midnight) I'll be out there tomorrow. I hope to meet some of you.

The unexpected detour to Olds was nice too, gas was 10 cents cheaper

Spotted all of you guys at around 3:45 heading back to Calgary. I was headed to Edmonton (and am sitting here at the U of A right now). All your car's looked gangsta...especially the MK2's...holy shart some of them are just crazy low.

There are alot of cars I saw heading back to Calgary that I've never seen before.
- Silver Jetta on 19's, look like it had EuTUNING stickers on it and Eurodrivers decal.
- Galactic Blue Jetta on 19's. It looked like Disturbo but it wasn't. It had tinted windows.
- Blue GLI with Votex front.

Lookin good yo.

Also, wtf is with all the MK4's with burnt out headlights? On my way to Edmonton I spotted like at LEAST 20 MK4's with one burnt out bulb. Do they really believe the advice in the owner's manual that you need to take it in to the dealership to get them replaced?

I saw many cars on the way back in to Calgary around 3:45. I couldn't make the event, due to a previous engagement with another club affiliation (4x4 club 40th anniversary planning committee).
I was envious...

Hey guys, I'm so sorry I didnt make it out there. I've been feeling like crap the last couple of days and this morning I wasn't any better, so I figured I should take it easy and get some rest. I hope everyone had fun!

It was a great time, everyone scared us with the weather predictions but we didn't feel even a drop of rain.

Great turnout and now to find those pics so we can start posting them.
