DTP Calgary June 10th

Well the last thread is full of maybes and whatevers so if you want to be in and can be in the DTP show for June 10th at the Olympic Oval post up here.

I will not be in the country for the show so I could need some help making things go smoothly but we should put out a few cars so post up if you want to show your car for Eurodrivers!

So we had a bazillion for SCN, but noone else for DTP? I don't get it... Weak! Clubveedub is putting in 6 cars or so, and this is a more tuner style program to boot.

So we had a bazillion for SCN, but noone else for DTP? I don't get it... Weak! Clubveedub is putting in 6 cars or so, and this is a more tuner style program to boot.

Yea, don't know what to tell you. We tried but it's ultimately you guys that need to step up. If I had a car that fit in this show I would for sure put it in, maybe next year once we've got our house done I can put something in a little newer.

There was only 2 MK4's from Eurodrivers at FFH too.

Well whatever, me and Graeme can at least make an attempt at an entry. Of course, having nothing but VWs at all our last few shows kind of defeats the point of the "eurodrivers" name though... What about R-Audi - he was going in under some vendor but the position was filled?

badazzjetta - DTP is coming to Edmonton I think so probably easier to go in there. If you are willing to drive down, more power to you though, we obviously will have space.

Actually a bunch on that list were no shows, but I agree, it was still a good turnout. Not sure why the turnout is poor but we might be able to still swing it. Otherwise I was thinking we could have a cruise that weekend instead.

Blair will be away but I commited to work it out if we get enough interest. I don't have access to club funds though so whoever enters may have to pay upfront.

Well I'm entering either way. It's just brutal that the old school VWs are going to smoke us at a new school show.

If anyone wants to try a 1 day showing of their car, now's a good time to give it a shot. I entered last year with wheels, suspension exhaust and that's about it. (Come to think of it, that's still about it ahahah)

Well I don't know about "smoke us" their intent was always to enter DTP where we put more focus on SCN as that was the show most folks from here prefered to enter. CVD didn't enter SCN. Either way, it doesn't really matter, it's not a competition, I'm glad they are able to get a good turnout.

This is basically the last big show of the year though other than Das Volks which is strictly a VW Show.
