Edmonton Expansion

In an effort to further expand the Eurodrivers community I am proud to announce the start of organized events in Edmonton. Mike (VRado6) has gladly volunteered to become the Northern Ambassador and begin local coordination of events.

Therefore I would like to have all the Edmonton members post up locations, dates and times in which a regular monthly meet can be held and I hope we can have the first one in the month of June. Over time Mike will be able to provide memberships and stickers to people in Edmonton who wish to support the Eurodrivers club and contribute to events in Calgary, Edmonton and the continued operation of this website.

Assuming the success of the Edmonton meetings I am also going to propose a joint meet in the Red Deer area for late in the summer or early fall in which we can all get together and have a fun afternoon checking out the cars and maybe a big cruise!!

Thanks to Mike for offering up his time and I hope we can make this a success!!

All the edmonton guys thanks again for coming down for the show this weekend and for sure you guys can get shiz going up north and have meets, cruises, etc now!!!

and yea blair a summer/fall cruise out by red deer would be awesome to do! even do a eurodrivers sylvan day and we can all go to wild rapids park there or something

I'm really looking forward to having a bigger part in the club with helping to set up the Edmonton chapter. For now, if I could get all the current members that are located in or around Edmonton to PM me with thier name, vehical info and thier contact number, I'd really appreciate it. I'm going to get a list going of all the current members so we can see where we stand, then we will start spreading the word and getting more people involved in the club. I think Farfromhome will be a great opportunity to get the word out about the club's expansion into Edmonton and should definitely get us some new members.

The Red Deer even sounds great since i live in Red Deer and maybe if the monthly events were on the weekend instead of thursdays i could actually make it down for some.

This sounds like a great plan, and I'm sure Mike will be a great ambassador to Eurodrivers. Me and Arthur would certainly love to help in any way we can, and we'll be in touch with Mike year round.

Like Mike said, Farfromhome would be a great starting point.

We'll be sure to start getting the word out around town and hopefully get some good meets set-up for this summer.

Hi all, my name is Scott and i live on the island right now. in a month or two, im moving out to Edmonton. I was just up there last weekend and only saw 1 Jetta that is slammed on 17 or 18's , white mk2.

is edmonton havea big reputation of mod vw's ?

We have our fair share of modded dubs...there's some nice shows held throughout Alberta, so you'll be able to see a whole bunch of Dubs at those shows.

For those of you guys that can't attend during the week (which actually includes myself for a little while due to school) we'll be having some weekend cruises etc. which we'd love to have some of you out.

I'll probably be looking to make the first one early to mid June (maybe a couple weeks after FFH).
