Yes the show starts at 3pm on friday and goes till 6 or 7 Sunday I believe so come down if you can we could use some support.

It is kind of interesting that we have no Mk4s considering that is all we usually have but no one wanted to show except Simon, but the drive was just too much for him. Hopefully we will have more cars for the summer season would be nice to have 8-10 for the import shows.

Should we bring our own jacks and what not. I know Derek and I both want to adjust our suspension there.

Yes bring whatever you need to get the cars ready, but you can probably share one jack amongst you or two to work at the sametime

Hey Graeme,
Do you have a jack that fits under the car? Mine isn't quite low enough to slide under the GTI. I was thinking about just making some ramps this weekend out of 2x6's!

I use the stock jack to make one end high enough to fit my better jack in. My car was still to low after i drove on 2x4's.

Do you have a torque wrench?

Well we'll have to see about that. I have wrenches however the coils haven't been adjusted or touched for that matter in about 3 years. I've never even tried so I don't know how difficult it might be to adjust them! Luckily they ghave never been exposed to salt so that might make things a little easier.

What time are we all meeting on thursday? Will we have time once the cars are in to detail them further or do we just move in and leave?

C1 thought mine were seized but I got them to move. Just bring a can of WD40 and wire brush just in case.

I would like to meet around 5ish and then proceed in, but we do have until 10pm to detail the cars and prep the display. We also have from 10am -12pm on friday morning if we should require more time.
