yah lower those mk3's as low as they can possibly go, even if they're undrivable. just don't park them next to me so it looks like my car is a 4x4

IMHO a toureg with 20" oem wheels is nothing special. yes it looks nice but thats like saying a stock GTI w/ its optional 18" wheels are the ****. or a dodge ram truck with 20" chromies standard is the blueberry yumyum. I don't feel it belongs in a show this big or of this calibre.

When i entered world of wheels in the past the decision was made by the world of wheels officals my civic got in my celica got denied.

Yea from what I heard on CVD, they check everyone as you come in. Some people have had to go drive around to burn gas before coming in and it's a big hassle.

I think they are strict, and they aren't. Two times I've been through WOW check-in, once they asked if I had 1/4 tank and i said yes, the other time they stuck their head in and looked at the gas gauge and checked themselves.

But yes, make sure you only have 1/4 tank.

during Import Showoff two years ago, some guy tried to bleed the fuel from the fuel line and roasted his car in the process.

well it depends if they check or not, they checked me last time i went, i tried 3 different products from canadian tire, nothing worked, i think we have some siphon proofing, even did it the old fashioned way with a tub + mouth. then later i ended up going to dealership where they took the rear seat out and unscrewed tank and pull it out that way, if i only knew.

vagcom will move the needle about a 1/4 tank up or down... well, in mk4
