If you want a really really accurate dyno, go out to the weigh scale and get an accurate car weight before dyno day! Pretty sure otherwise you'll end up with an estimated weight which means an estimated load.

Isn't the one just past Airdrie always running? Pretty sure HW1 W one has been closed before as I've been driving by.

Are we supposed to include driver weight?

I dunno, I doubt it. There is always run running in the South too down at the far end of McLeod Tr.

Sounds like a fun time. I don't think I'll be bringing my TDI on the dyno but I would love to come and watch this. My bro has always wanted to get his GTI dynoed so maybe he will be intreasted in this.

Well we have not had a dyno day this year so I think the time has come to set one up. I have decided to do something different this time and have been in touch with Tecmotion. They have a Mustang dyno and come highly recommended by Bart.

We need a minimum of 6 cars and the cost will be $50 per car. Each car will get to run until they have achieved two consistent runs that only very by about 1hp and this can take between 2-5 runs, basically until Matthew is satisfied with your runs. They will also supply pop and donuts for us. Front wheel drive cars have to be run by him but if anyone did rear wheel (me maybe ) they can drive it themselves if wanted.

Date is set for Saturday September 24th

There is a weigh station at the husky at barlow and 32nd ave n.e.. I asked about a year ago and dude at the station said it was 8 bucks for the weigh.

There is one just south of calgary on high way 2. Its always on and no one ever uses it. I think Kor is talking about the same one. Do you need to collect money ahead of time?

Getting weighed should only cost money if you want a printout. Just drive on the pad and if the guy asks, tell him your just weighing out of curiosity (unless things have changed in the last year or so).

Also on dyno day make sure your two front tires are at equal pressure and not over or under inflated

Well just wanted to see where we are at with this. We are confirmed for the 24th at Tecmotion. We have the initial list of people and 10-12 will be our limit so please confirm if you will be in for sure or not so that someone else may have your spot, especially the maybes....
