Hi all,
I just wanted to gauge the club's interest in some classroom instruction and track time on the Road Course at Race City. I have spoken to Jay Pringle of Track Techniques Performance Driving School and he has agreed to run the event with me (I am a BMW Club, Audi Club and Porsche Club (PCA) Performance Driving Instructor).
The classroom session (say 2hrs) will be in the evening on a week night and will be followed the next evening by the on track event from 5pm until dusk. For this first track event we will only use the South end of Race City (Turns 1 thru 5 and the cut-off road.....it's fun and technical!). We will also have several other in-car instructors for you.
The cost will be about $200 per person (ballpark)for the two nights and we will need 10-14 of you to make it fly. This event will take place sometime in July if we have enough interest.
