Why would you need new rims to roll up with us? This show is more about the cars and the people then anything else, no major compitition.

I saw the red VR6 GTI that sported the flames stickers on the door today....some crazy displacement on it or something....still no painted bumpers....I'm getting to want to see all the dubs again..

That car showed up at the last meet. I think it is a 3.2L VR6 but it looks like the owner blew all his cash buying it as it still looks like a$$ up close.

Yeah that car needs a lot of work still but could be so amazing, 3.2L euro bumpers, euro interior, 3pc Schmidts......

I wouldn't miss this show for anything. Its a great time!!

The red VR you guys are talking about belongs to Neil. I think its a 3.0L, not a 3.2L. I believe the motor was built by trac racing in Quebec. That car has awesome potential. I especially like the euro MK3 Recaros!!

Yea, it could easily be one of the nicest mk3's around these parts (probably western Canada) But could def. use some finishing. I'm not sure what the displacement is but I don't think it's a 3.2 as I don't think you can go that big as there's not enough material seperating the cylinder walls if you go any bigger than 3.1 (??). So Derek you're probably right. I'm sure the specs are on Vortex somewhere because I remember when it was for sale. It was nice to see it at the meet though!
