Great Canadian VW Show

Is anyone from here going?? I'm about 95% sure I'll be going down there and was wondering if anyone else was considering it? It's on Sunday August 21st in Coquitlam, from what I can tell, and I believe MMP has a big gathering the night before at their complex. I know there is a bunch of CVD guys going (esp. the aircooled guys).So I figured if I left Saturday, I could hit up the BBQ at MMP and then hit up the show the next day, then head home on Monday.

This club doesn't seem as "hardcore" in terms of going to shows but I went a couple years ago and it was awesome, and it would be cool to head down there with a couple fellow club members.

The only thing that will keep me from going to it is if A) my car breaks down between now and then, or B) I end up going to "Hot August Nights" in Nevada.

Yeah, Myself, J'aime ta Femme, and Vaggod are probably going to be hittin' that up (spectator style as in not entering cars), I would've last year, but I was in Amsterdam.

if i'm not working in the US i may come down.. we'll see.. i love going to BC.. last summer i took the jetta to fernie for a week for golfing,etc.. so much fun

Ya, Id like to go for the cruise, maybe head up/down the coast from Van and do a little camping after the show

I would LOVE to go, see if I can get the Monday off work and convince the girl to make this our holiday (hahaha)
