i think COP is awesome regardless of where its at the parking lot is huge and i'm sure we could get the lot no problem and just put up signs on major roads around the city to get attention.. even phone Cjay and say 'hey euro show at COP'

I think inner city is better COP is a bit out of the way and the more attention we can get the better. I like the Park idea maybe Andrew can look into how we would go about this and what kind of costs and regulations we would be looking at. If the show works out well we also need to think of a location that may suit us for several years as well. Thanks for all the input everyone!!

By the way, let me know if you need any DJ hookups. I'd offer to spin but frankly I'd rather just enjoy myself than work. I know a few people who are very good.

Give me a realistic budget and I'll go from there. Also, is the show for-profit or basically a break-even type deal? If the latter, I can use that as a bargaining chip. Cheerio.

Well it is basically break even and if there is to be any profit it would just go back into the club for the next years event. There would also be exposure on posters and such to help give the DJ an added advertising benefit. The cost would also depend on if they have equipment or we would need to rent it.

The people I know have their own gear, and I also have my own in case we need it. Drop me an email with what you're willing to pay and I'll go from there. Sooner the better.

Don't mean to step on your toes, Yuval, but I also know a couple guys who are brilliant DJs that would likely play the show for free. I'll check with them and find out for sure though.

Well I've already sent Darius (DJ Melo-D) an email egarding the possibility. He's been at it for 15 years and is probably one of the best in the city. I'll let you know if he's available.
