  • DTP Show May 28th

Well the first big import show is in our sights and I would like to start getting the cars together. The show is May 28th at the Olympic Oval (This is the same as V8less show last year). We will need at least 5 cars but we could have more. The registration will be cheaper before the end of the month so if we could get a list together soon that would be great. Post up with interest and questions!!!

the cars we enter are usually full body kitted with minimum of 18" wheels. although this varies depending on whose available. At WoW we had those kind of cars, but we also had blairs clean mk3, chads GTI on borrowed 19's with a big turbo, and Brent who had neither body kit nor wheels, but had a really nice stereo and custom paint.

Not for this show, more like for reference, but about about more of a performance-enhanced car (stage 4 corrado), wheels, lowered, and then the little exterior mods like shaved trim, upgraded side markers, headlights, tailights, badgless grill, eye brow. Paint is new, so its still clean, it will get 3M taped this spring.

I'm always up for representin' but my car is probably still too "stock" despite my shaved and filled bodywork. I could dip farther into the visa but I've been there before because of car modding and it always ends up badly.

Well I think that Corrado could be a nice addition and I think your car Yuval would not look so out of place either. We just have to see how many cars are interested and then decide who goes. However we usually end up scrambling to make the minimum so I will keep everyone in mind. We have for potential entrants so far; Ryan, Simon L, Brent, and Yuval.

Cool Blair. If possible, it would be good to know sooner rather than later. If I have some advance warning, I can go a bit farther and do some things I was hoping to do later in the year anyway, like an exhaust and a couple other aesthetic mods, all of which would help with overall presentation.

I am pretty new here, but I would be in! So long as someone gets back to me about membership BLAIR!!! Just kidding! I just don't know if my car is still too "stock", even with what I've done to it so far....

There is no such thing as too stock for our club! We are not about only modded cars, just ask Blair about his 337.

However, for this ONE show you would probably want heavy mods...

I won't be in it since I am at a wedding in BC that weekend.

Wheels will probably be on the Jetta so they won't be getting lent out for this one either folks.

We'll see......I start a new job on Monday, so the funds should be there to get rid of that stock bumper, and the other minor repairs that need to be done...So thats a Maybe!

Your guess is as good as mine currently.....my new plan includes an S4 bumper with a few mods, and a SEAT splitter...
