Upcoming Shows

Well we are getting just around the corner from show season so it is time to start thinking about who will be in and stuff like that. There are the usual VW shows like Farfromhome and Das Volks but I am thinking more anout planning for the bigger import shows.

There is the DTP show (formerly V8less Urban Battles) on May 28th at the Olympic Oval. I have already been in contact with some of the promotors and they are working hard to improve this years show.

Sport Compact Nights is coming back to Calgary this year on June 11 at the Round Up Centre. Last years show in Edmonton was one of the highlights of the season, lots of fun!!!

Anyway I am just trying to guage interest on individuals and cars who want to represent NVD at these shows. We generally need around 6 cars for club displays but often can have more so get those spring mod plans ready!!!

I am also still trying to put together a big euro show this year as NVDs contribution so keep your eyes and ears open

I'm in for sure, as long as they're not 3 day shows like WoW. My gf and I only have the one car.

I'll have my 18s refinished and new rubber in about a month, I figure. And I'm considering other ways of "sprucing it up." I'd like to do a full exhaust but don't know if I have that kind of coin. I'm also trying to find out if there are lower mesh grills anywhere that will match my FK grill. At the very least, I'd like to clean up my filthy engine bay and maybe get some advice from you guys on how to add some nice touches to it.

no all the other shows are 1 day but 2 really cuz of the roll in day/overnight park deal

definately get in on SCN, it was here in Calgary 2 years ago and it was one of the better shows the city has seen in a while IMO.

For one day shows I am up for it. Maybe I will have all my bling toysd done by then (and we would have enough room for me to open up and show them).
