Well I dropped off my tires ( bought 712's from mytires, great price to boot too) and visited my rims today. When I phoned there last week I said I needed them for world of wheels and I guess the owner ( I forget his name) heard that and decided that sine they where going into the show they better paint the inside of the rims too. So they are sanding the gunmetal down and repainting it I also saw how polished they are and they are going to look AWESOME, I am so stoked to see them all done. Now I have to decide if I want to use the plastic insert caps and my locking cap or just paint the heads of the bolts gunmetal or silver, I am undecided what would look better.
Are you getting your rims repaired? Custom painted? I'm curious, because I need to get my 18s refinished (curbage and some clearcoat peeling on the lip) and was going to be bringing them to Alberta Wheel Repair. But I was also wondering who I might be able to talk to about painting/powdercoating the interior of the rim.
bump for tommorow nights WOW meet.. i'm prolly gonna be rocking my jetta too unless it snows
7pm at Starbucks in Westhills right? Is that across from the theaters? I'm not sure if I can make it but I'd like to come by to say hi and pick up a NVD membership.

Refinished and some points of the colour and being changed as well as stainless steel bolts where the plastic ones are now. They screwed up the first rim that was sent to them but I guess when I phoned the other week to see when they where going to be done and I told them I needed them for wow, I guess that got back to the owner and he decided to repaint the inside of the wheel too. So they should look like brand new I am hoping.
