Kor we should set up an appoitment with toma before it snows or during spring. I think a bunch of other peeps would be interested too.

I wanted to put my MBC in after my first run and the tech was saying it was waay to busy with 8 people. Putting a MBC in and plugging the n75 ports must be a pain staking difficult and long task

I dont think its the dyno thats the problem.... its lack of knowledge from SO CALLED technicians.

Ah, #'s not so good this time.

1st run 209whp 228trq

2nd 204whp 201trq

3rd 197whp 187trq


Its my own fault. Asked to dyno as soon I got there, as I wanted to be somewhere else right away. So car was pretty hot. The tech told me the intake manifold was hot to the touch when they strapped it onto the dyno. Ended up staying at C1 for most of the afternoon, anyways.

Its O.K. Got a fmic, and should be on the car soon.

Thanks guys, for letting Sean dyno his rsx at the last minute. Interesting to see how the competition stacks up, eh?

After that intercooler is installed you will definitely like it. Much more sustained powa.

Ohh forgot to note Seans RSX Type S was pretty cool too.... when the VTEC kicks in the dyno shows almost a complete horizontal line of power. I believe it was a 20HP gain after 5800 rpm's

QuA: I don't need to dyno before it snows since I won't have any new mods until christmas. I don't think my numbers have changed, so why waste the time and cash... if you want I will let you know when I do decide to make my baseline with Toma's dyno, but that won't be for a few months.

Chad: You are still running pretty low boost levels through right? You should get some reliable boost control and then slowly up the boost to around 20psi, as long as your fueling can handle it. The GT28R should have no problem. Those numbers aren't so good, I did better on my stock turbo last time :(

I dunno, have to wait. Should see 250-260 whp on a gt28r, with appropriate fueling and software. Not as much as a rs, but enough fun for me.

I would like to see what Kris can do with a big t3/t4.

Yeah that was a good time fellas!! Its unfortunate that a few more folks couldn't have made it out. I was pretty happy with my numbers....211.3 WHP and 191.1 ft/lbs. I though the torque numbers were a little low but I'm happy none the less. I think I might be giving the boys at C2 a call to aquire some new injectors, pulleys and software to get me up to the 260-270 WHP range!

I am operating on the theory that well tuned cheap equipment will outperform bolted on expensive equipment.

No, different Sean. It was a friend of mine who came along to check out the dub-scene, and ended up gettin his rsx on the rollers.
