If you guys leave on Saturday, and decide to spend the night, you could always stay at the Fantasy Land Hotel in West Ed. Cause the VW show in Edmonton is about 2 minutes away from West Edmonton Mall, so you certinaly wouldn't get lost , and who doesnt' wanna spend a night in a mall?

I am not sure when I will go up but most likely first thing Sunday morning but I will try and see what is going on. For those that want to go Sunday am we can setup a rendezvous point and time and cruise up together.

i'm not opposed to going up sunday myself.. i just don't want to wake up at 630 to drive 3 hours (and you can't speed as much i'm gonna guess as we did before lol) but i might just end up doing it that way..

I stayed there last year at this time and Im pretty sure it was about 150/night (I seem to remember a comerical saying rooms starting from 99/ni) Seeing as its off season, it should be cheap...This is for the non-themed rooms tho, you gotta pay to play if ya wanna sleep in the back of a truck bed

I am confirmed for this show if you guys are still going and we are not leaving until Saturday afternoon.

Might want to check Expedia.ca for somewhere to stay. You can get awesome rates, and I sometimes get further discounts as a frequent user. They also have some hotels with large rooms (ie for 3, 4, 5, or 6 person capacity).
