Well those look pretty good but they are not blinding are they?? We may just need some subtle lighting as oppposed to full on, I am sure it will not be pitch black in there. My idea was to have lights under the engine and shine up through the engine and such, but I will try and find out how dark it may or may not be.

Nice. Do the lights themselves actually look okay and not too ghetto? I guess we could spraypaint/texture the bases if not.

Can I get or do we need anything else? Perhaps a strip of flooring or some kind would be cool. I remember from WOW that flooring does wonders. Not a lot of it, maybe just a small 8 foot circle of floored area or something.


Are we allowed to have a table of some kind? One thing that might be easy is if someone has a neat looking table we could just bring up with us, like a coffee table or something?

Might also be possible to build a literature stand or something? IE:

Good thoughts Kris, I would be in for many of these ideas, just comes down to cost and I guess transporting to Edmonton. We really should maybe have a meet about this soon, perhaps this weekend and such. I am also confirming with the promotors on the lighting at the show.

you're allowed to have anything you want. my clubs display at the winnipeg SCN is a huge carwash building and i'm taking my brock-tables to house literature.

Yes Kris. Great ideas. The lights themselves don't look ghetto at all. They already come in black and are really small.

Blair - I don't think they are blinding... although it would not be comfortable to look directly into them I'll bring one along for our meet so you can see for yourselves.

I don't mind donating a little bit to the club, since I am in the show and I am sure I won't be in many shows. Depends on the cost though. If theres a meet, invite me (except I am helping friends move on Sat). If its early (I am helping at 2:30pm) or late in the evening I can show up.

I am pretty much free all weekend, maybe without a vehicle sunday as the manifold is coming off for a little bling I think Simon will be busy so it could just be you and me Derick, but I think we should get some stuff on the go though asap. We also need to think about hotel rooms.
