oh hey brent i remember you can't come tommorow is martin going to be there and i'll give him that antenna adapter for you? or if not i can give it to you if you wanna help me wire up the power wire for it sometime.. i'm gonna go buy the proper one and a pocket friday cuz i get like 3/4 day off

Not sure if Martin is goimg, he is finishing a lot of renos on his house so I don't think that he will be there.
I can help you out any night next week if you want as I am in no hurry to install the adapter yet

Hope those apps are almost finished

Anyway do not worry about the money right now, I am not sure what the final cost will be because the more cars we have the better the price I negotiated. Thus I will pay the bill myself and then get you guys to pay me back and we can split it all up evenly. Then when this is all taken care of we can start planning our display and stuff, I think this will be a great weekend.

Bad news guys.

Judging by the rate that things are going with my insurance company here, I dont think that I'll be all reparied and ready to go in time for the show. I'm gonna have to pull out.

Hope someone else there can take my spot. This sucks, but there isnt anything I can do about it.

Thats too bad Conrad I hope you get things taken car of as soon as you can but we will probably just run with 6 cars then. However you can still hang out and help out with the display if you want!!

Well our apps got in yesterday so I think everything is all good!!! The display area can be whatever we want it to be, but lets just say it is a fairly big are with six cars sitting in it, what should we do to make it look good!! It may also be darker in the venue so some trick ligthing or something may help the cars look hotness!!! Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated and we could still use a couple of models too

We'd Need about 2 per car I'll stop by Home Depot today to see what they have to offer. There may be some sort of cheap solution. But to scrape together 12 Halogens, all mixed and matched, would look super ghetto imo.

Well I have been thinking of some ideas and I thought of the small Ikea cabinet lights and we could have them on the floor under the cars or something, but they go for $18 each so not cheap, but Ikea may offer some interesting and cost effective choices.

If you consider the Halogen route, Princess auto always has halogen lights on sale.

I guess you could make it look like a body shop somehow, with all those halogens I'm not sure what else you could make it look like.

The cabinet lights is a cool idea too. Blair I think they might be cheaper than that, I think mine were close to that price but they came in packs of 2 (I could be wrong but you might want to check it out).
