Yes anyone wanting to come we do have five cars going up, but we will need to know so any hotel plans can be made. Then we can have some setup help as well

derick and i agreed to be roomies already to keep the costs down so i dunno what everyone else has planned??? super 8ish or best western are cheap i dunno

I don't know much about edmonton but my advice is to stay off the Calgary trail (gateway blvd). Everything seems jacked up there except for maybe the greenwood inn. I called the travelodge there one time and they wanted like 115 bucks for a night!! At a travelodge? I'll pass. Perhaps the Edmonton guys can help you guys scope a cheap decent place.

Well the thought was to stay downtown so we could walk from the hotel to the center, cuz if we stay further out could be a pain to get to and from the show friday night/saturday morning. Orginally we thought of renting a car but I would think that for the cost of the car that could make up for the difference in the hotel, but it is up to you guys and we may have at least 7 people to get around with. Arthur found a couple of places for us but they are around $100 a night so it is up to you guys what you would like to do.

yea i agree that we should stay downtown cuz i don't want to travel all over the place do you guys wanna have another quick meet say thursday before we leave just to finalize all the details?

yea i dunno how much to fill up with for friday i guess like 70% of a tank.. i dunno.. over the weekend i made a fab 710KM on a tank of mohawk 94!!!

I was gonna just get 1/2 a tank, then if I run out I will stop somewhere along the way? IE Red Deer or Olds or something. Better to be too low than too high?

I'm a friend of Arthur's in Edmonton and we checked out a few places beside the Shaw Confrence Centre (where the show's gonna be held ) and we found a nice Hotel, the Westin ( I think it's called ) and they told us they have rooms for 105 a night. They said they have these room with two beds, so two or more guys can split that and cut down on the costs.

I know 105 isn't cheap, but that hotel is about 2 walking minutes away from the Shaw Confrence Centre. And since you guys will be without your dubs for the weekend, it's not a bad choice.

The Hotel's downtown, and just being in the lobby....it looks like a beauty.

I've been in the rooms, they are really nice. Friends of mine always stayed there when they visited Edm. Wow, 105, that seems pretty cheap for the Westin considering what they want for some of the other places around the city.

Is that a JMS front spoiler? If anyone sees this car at the show, can they please take some close up pics of it? The pics on the momentum motorsports website suck, and I'm considering this valence if I don't like the look of what's coming out of Rudy's in a couple weeks.
