Edmonton Shows

[Canadian Turbo]

Well since we are working hard at getting NVD exposed and showing off the cars, I have been looking at all the shows out there for us to go into. There are shows coming up in Edmonton July 10 V8less and July 24 Sport Compact Nights. So my question is anyone wanting to hit either or both of these shows up. Most likely we would need around 5+ cars to get club display and we would most likely have to stay at least one night in Edmonton and we could maybe get some Northern guys in on the action too!

I already have prior commitments for the weekend of the 10th but I would happy to set everything up and maybe the 24th the MK3 could make an appearence So let me know your thoughts and if any interest is there and then I can start making the necessary arrangements!

well i have beef with v8less so i don't want to do that one but the 24th i'll do for sure.. simon derick you'ze better be in too
ps.. we can perhaps make a trip to west ed parks? i haven't been there for a few years and am itchin to do some of that stuff

Yes, I can make these shows too (some new toys arrived this afternoon ). But I don't know if you want 2 black Jettas for the display. So just let me know and I'll gladly bow out for Kris's car to enter instead

I think the more cars the better regardless of colour. Just my thoughts though.

Nothing IMO. I was just thinking back to the WoW show where we were trying to find the best color arrangement for the cars we entered. But I'm game with whatever. The car is so close to being finished aesthetically ..... Then it's APR time baby!

I saw the pics of the VUB, and I thought maybe there was a lack of colour.....I know you don't want to conform to the rice show world, but colour sells just like sex! Throw some cool colours in there, like KLOBIONE's green, Bills yellow, we need a futura car, and a tropic orange, a matchstick or tornado red, get some stark contrasting colours.....Jazz blue?? We're NVD, not the black tux's! Maybe we need to hit up some more recruiting for colours, I've been leaving cards, there is still a tropic I see running around.....Catch my drift??

At WOW we made sure each car was a different color, but since then it is not easy to come across cars that are show worthy, a good color and want to be in the show so at this point we are taking what we can get! I would not pick two black because they are black but because they are the most modified cars in the club. If you guys want some color then you folks with color better step up to the plate and get some hardcore modding going on!

Perhaps for the SCN show on the 24th my car will be worthy and then we can have blue and mk3 in the mix

I bought a house......I can't help I'm the only one in the club with good taste in car colour......so you boys wanna send me some $$$ go ahead!
