Leavenworth Drive will be held on June 24 2017. For those that don't know, this is a charity cruise from Bellevue Washington to Leavenworth Washington. It hosts anywhere from 500-1200 European cars in a small Bavarian mountain town. It is not a show by any means, it is a 2-3 hour drive through beautiful scenery and then goes on to being an all day event/party filled with drinking beers, eating bratwursts and looking at all the beautiful cars in the town. To put it in perspective, Leavenworth is about 1/3 the size of Banff, and the main streets of the town are filled with some of the nicest European cars around. This thread is not thread for the planning of the itinerary for the trip. Since this is 1200kms away, most people plan their own routes and days of being there. There are a few of us who have already booked hotel rooms and committed to going again this year. Some are skipping the cruise and staying 2 nights in Leavenworth just for the party. Make sure you plan early and book your hotels soon as Bellevue and Leavenworth book up fast! This will be my 5th year going and I have made it my mission to ensure I get to go on this trip each year. Its a beautiful drive and a nice short vacation revolving around cars. If you have any questions about the trip, this will be a great resource for you.
If you are planning on going, post your name up and we can start a list. It would be great to at least have a get together and have a beer with some fellow Eurodrivers while in Leavenworth. Last year it was an unexpected pleasure to see Dave there in the RS2 and be able to grab a drink
