          Damn, I'm flying out to Vancouver that weekend to pick up my new B5 S4 Avant. Would have been nice to swing by on my drive back but that won't be till monday. Just bad timing.

                Remember that 1A through Banff park requires a park pass now. I know Rod negotiated us past the pass check last year... hah. Might not work twice!

                    Really? I was always told that as long as you don't plan on stopping in the park (i.e. driving through to Radium) that you don't need a park pass. It's only if you're stopped that you'll possibly be checked for passes. With that said, I'm guessing the crew plans to stop a few times in the park anyways?

                      Yup, this is new as of last year. If you take the 1A/Bow Valley Parkway after you enter Banff then you have to pay for a park pass. We will not be going that way again unfortunately. We will stop at the Castle Junction rest stop to make sure everyone with small bladders has a break and no one is lost, then we'll head onto 93 towards Radium and a yummy German lunch

                        Good to know! I just came through Radium on the way back from Kimberley last week and ate some yummy Schnitzel at the Old Sazburg redtaurant there. Yum!

                          As in previous years we will culminate the cruise out to Radium at The Old Salzburg Restaurant for a great German lunch! I want to have an estimated head count on who will be eating there with us. If possible can you answer below if you are going to be at the restaurant with us. Thanks guys!!
