Leavenworth Drive 2016 - Photos

I participated in my first Leavenworth Drive this year and had a great time! I met some members of the ACNA in Langley and drove down to Bellevue early Saturday morning. The RS2 ran great and received lots of thumbs up.

Car looks amazing and thanks for sharing the pics Dave!! I need to get to Leavenworth one day and compare it with Worthersee as it looks the closest for NA based events, but less acid wash and more tank tops

I'd love to do a convoy from Calgary next year. The drive from Bellevue to Leavenworth was epic. I hooked up with a bunch of Audi's from Addict Motorsport in Seattle. There was even a white C5 Audi RS6 Avant in the group!!

My coilpacks were acting up with the spirited driving through the mountain passes. I think it's time for the 2.0T upgrade. Other than that the car ran fantastic. Even got some respect from an M5 owner with a beast of a V10. He was amazed at how effortlessly the RS2 pulled without having to even gear down. Really nice guy despite what you might think from the photo.

That imola RS4 was actually an audi exclusive orange. Looked amazing in the sun. The reflection is closer to the real color. The only complaint about the drive itself was that there was only room for a fraction of the cars that made the trip up. There were a ton of cars just parked at the different hotels so they weren't easy to admire. I ran into Tracy and Patryk and their gang in town but never saw their cars the whole day. I got amazing reactions when I cruised through town so it would have been nice to display the RS2 in the town if I could only find a spot.

Yeah it was great seeing you down there and having a beer with you Dave. Unfortunately our cars were parked at either the hotel or up in the residential. We left Bellevue long before the drivers meet in hopes of getting a spot in town as well but there was no chance for that. We were told by a few people who stayed in Leavenworth the night before that the spots were pretty much full by 9:30am, at which point we were just leaving Bellevue. Either way it was fun as always!
