    Great Canadian Vw Show 2016

    No details have been posted as of yet, but I figure it couldn't hurt to get a thread going.

    I plan on going this year and am wondering who else plans to go? This will be my first year going to the show, and also my first time to Vancouver! So I'm looking forward to it.

    Friday August 19th-Sunday august 21st.

    Can someone who has been to the show chime in and let us now how the weekend is?

    I believe Friday is 1/4 mile drags
    Saturday is pancake breakfast/show and shine
    Sunday is the show.

    The show is great, much bigger than any show in Alberta, drags will be fun too. I'm heading to Vancouver on August 18th if anyone wants to drive together! My tip for anyone who haven't driven in Vancouver is to avoid rush hour, since the gcvw hotel is located by the highway and it gets very clogged up between 7-9:30am, lunch time, and 3:30-6pm. Also make sure your ac is working well

      I'm going. I love Vancouver.

      I'll be driving down to San Francisco/LA after the show as well.

        I really enjoyed it. The drags were fun and the show and shine at the dealership with the pancake breaky and cruise after is great. The show itself is huge, so many cool cars. Lots of part vendors with neato stuff too. I will be back, just wont be this year!

                  bah, i was out of town that weekend, I work just 15 mins from open road vw, wish I was able to come. great video dan!
