May Meeting

[Canadian Turbo]

The May meeting will be on Thursday May 6th, 2004 at 8pm and it will be back at the Heritage Gate Boston Pizza. I feel the Westbrook location did not work out well for us last month so I have decided to go back to the Heritage location.

The meeting will be the usual chatting and checking out of the rides. The weather should be pretty good and most people should be in summer mode then so I encourage everyone to come out, and of course new members are always welcome and memberships are available. We will be gearing up for the show season with V8less soon after and FarfromHome later in the month. There will be some other shows for us to consider like V8less Edmonton and SCN in Edmonton too.

I won't be this time, I work 3-3, so that sucks, because I may actually have stuff done to my car!! When is FFH and where??

Sorry you cannot make it Alex. FFH is on Sunday May 30th and is in Sylvan lake, but we will meet up first, then meet up with CVD and then head up as a massive group of dubs, it is a good time!

Another missed show for me...

Are there any in June/July? Can we have our own show? Maybe like "Dubs in the Park" or something like that.. uhh.... in some kinda park.

So is FFh a show and shine or Bling Bling show? I wouldn't mind going to this one. It would give me a good excuse to detial my car lol
The "dubs in the park" show I went to a year or two back (I think it was one park near elbow drive) was pretty cool anyone know the info on that one?

FFH is just a casual show.. I dont believe its judged... And trust me Brent your car will be just fine in there... U should see some of the monstors rollin into that place....

I think you are talking about "Das Volks" which is usually held in Stanley Park. It's on August 8th this year i believe.

Yup I think that was the one I went to for an afternoon last year, was pretty neat. I remmeber seeing a Mk3 jetta that was getting a whole white/red leather job and paint there but it wasn't done.
