This friday (April 16th) is the opening night of the season of Secret Street at Race City. So if you guys want to get a drag race in, and or also this year there is autcross as well. Cost is $25 to run and $5 to watch. I know a few guys were planning on going down so if anyone is thinking of heading down maybe we can get a group going or even a bunch going just to check out the action!

I'm almost scared to go... never been before, and I'm not too sure what kind of times I should expect.Sidewalks are for normal walkin.... aint no room for fancy walkin....Comment

oh god colin 1st time is super scary IMO.. i had no clue what i was doing and buddy was always yelling at me.. but after a few runs i calmed down and then it was cool.. i'm gonna go sometime this summer once i get chipped it is quite fun but a little hard on the carComment

What kind of times were you running Ryan. I'm not really sure what to expect. The worst possible scenario is if I were to miss 2nd gear... which seems to happen to me every so often.... I'd never hear the end of it.Sidewalks are for normal walkin.... aint no room for fancy walkin....Comment

haha i went like 17.7, 17.1, 16.8 then like 22 cuz i slipped my clutch bad on my last run and quit for the night.. its all in good fun.. i raced mike's GLI for my 1st 3 and he beat me by 1 car length every time which seemed about right.. i think its more fun racing a buddy cuz your not as scared and i could care less who winsLast edited by R_Ethug; 04-12-2004, 11:11 PM.Comment
